You Should Never Ever Put Banana In The Fridge

Many people have been storing bananas in the fridge for the longest time now, and changing their perceptions won’t be an easy task.

Well, banana tastes sweeter when ripe, and if you store them in the fridge, they may not ripen any time soon.  The conditions in the fridge are unfavourable for the ripening of the bananas, and it would be best if you store them away from the fridge.

Keeping coffee beans in the fridge makes them lose their flavour quickly due to moisture. Coffee beans also absorb odour, and storing them in the fridge makes them go bad easily.

Store your coffee beans in a dark, air-tight container at room temperature and away from direct sunlight.

7. Tomatoes

Tomatoes should also be kept in an open basket when out on the counter. You can put them in the fridge, but only when they are ripe.

However, tomatoes lose their flavour too quickly, and they should not last in the fridge for more than two days.

Therefore, the safest place to store your tomatoes is in the open basket at room temperature. Please do not keep them too close to avoid bruising.
